This Privacy Policy explains what information CREATRS ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the CREATRS app, website, and related services (the "Platform").

1. Information we collect

Account details: for creators, your name and phone number; for brands, your work email, password, and business/legal name. Optional profile details (e.g. niches, socials, industry, about).
Verification data: one-time codes (OTP) and, for brands, KYC information and documents you submit for review.
Campaign & content data: briefs, applications, submissions, messages, and related metadata.
Payment data: transaction, payout, and balance records. Card/bank details are handled by our payment processors, not stored by us.
Technical data: device, app version, and log data used to operate and secure the Platform.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and verify your identity.
To operate campaigns, matching, submissions, and escrow payouts.
To send transactional messages (e.g. OTPs, updates) via WhatsApp or email.
To detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and keep the Platform safe.
To improve our services and comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

Between users: brands and creators see the information needed to collaborate (e.g. a creator's public profile, a brand's public profile, submissions).
Service providers: messaging (WhatsApp Cloud API), email (AWS SES), file storage, and payment processors that act on our behalf.
Legal reasons: where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

5. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of authentication tokens and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Children

The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes may be communicated in-app or by email.
